This program was created for an underserved demographic within our community. At Immigrant Outreach Society, we value our elders and want to create a community that supports their enrichment during vulnerable times in their lives. In gratitude for the contributions to our community, IOS’ Senior Active Living Program has services that target mental health and wellness, cognitive development, social inclusion, and counseling exclusively designed for seniors. Through this comprehensive programming, the Immigrant Outreach Society hopes to alleviate the adversities that East African seniors quietly struggle with within our city.
