Immigrant Outreach Society (IOS) is a black-led, black-serving, and black-mandated (B3), non-profit organization that provides evidence-based, language-specific, and culturally appropriate mental health services, crisis response, and psychosocial intervention for black refugees and immigrants from East Africa in Calgary and the area.

MISSION
Our mission is to support black refugees and immigrants from East Africa by providing culturally appropriate and language-specific mental health, crisis and psychosocial programs and services, as well as policy influencing, advocacy and anti-racism programming and initiatives.
VISION
Our vision is to create a vibrant community that addresses the issue of refugee and immigrant mental health access and racial equality.
